The Fall Projects Showcase will give an opportunity for our Fall projects teams to present the projects they built in AI, hack, and design. Showcases will be open to everyone to provide both a platform for students to gain valuable experience communicating their ideas to a general audience, as well as for those interested to get an idea of what projects are. The first 30 minutes will be explaining the projects system to attendees and interested applicants for the next cycle. The last hour will be a science-fair style demonstration of the projects each team built over the summer.

In Hack School 4: Debug + Deployment, we've finally finished up all of the code portions of our project. Now, we'll take what we have and put it up on the internet for anyone to freely view and play around with! We'll also be walking you through any commonly faced issues, as well as giving individual attention to anyone who is particularly struggling with any part of the project.

In Hack School 3: Building APIs with Express, we’ll explore the backend side of web development and how it powers the frontend you’ve already built. You’ll learn how to set up a basic Express server, create your first GET and POST routes, and send data as JSON, the format websites use to talk to each other. We'll cover how frontend apps interact with APIs, and if time allows, hook up a simple frontend to test it live. No database, no stress, just clean, beginner-friendly backend fundamentals that connect to the web app we've been building throughout Hack School.
